Who can enter the Kuda for Her Pitch Challenge?
Women-led food or hospitality businesses including hotels, restaurants, caterers, and beverage makers that are registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), have a full Kuda Business account, and operate in Lagos, Nigeria.
How much is the grant?
The grant is ₦1 million. We’ll choose four winners who will each receive ₦1 million in their Kuda Business account.
When do entries open and close?
Entries open March 10, 2026 and close March 15, 2026. Late entries won't be accepted.
What should my pitch include?
  • Your name, your business name, and your full Kuda Business account number
  • Your business story
  • Your revenue over the past twelve months
  • Your plans to scale your business and how you’ll use the grant.
Can I send a pitch without a full Kuda Business account?
No, you can`t. Open a full Kuda Business account here for free. We recommend opening an account before the March 15 deadline to avoid delays.
How will the winners be picked?
Entries will be scored on business viability, growth potential, impact, and the strength of the pitch by a panel of judges made up of business coaches, SME experts, and industry leaders.
When will winners be announced?
The four grant winners will be announced at the Kuda for Her seminar on March 27, 2026.
Is the Kuda for Her seminar free to attend?
Yes, it’s free to attend. Reserve your seat here if you haven’t.
Do I have to attend the event to win?
Winners are expected to attend the event on March 27, 2026, either in person or online.
Can I enter the challenge if my business is outside Lagos?
No, you can’t. This edition of the challenge is exclusively for Lagos-based businesses. Follow @kudabusiness on X to get updates about future editions in other cities.
